INFO
JINAH PARK
is visual artist working in various media including photography, video, text, sculpture and installation.
Main focus is on exploring and deconstructing the ingrained concepts of contemporary society, especially around themes of humans, animals and gender.
Create creatures somewhere between human and animal and feature them in my film, or perform acts of body rupture to deconstruct and expand the concept of ‘me-body'. Also interested in documenting everyday life through photography and video, and capturing fleeting moments and impressions via written narratives.
Inspired by and explore discourses on gender philosophy and documents on sociobiology.
In my future work, I aim to reveal the boundaries and inherent human-centric value systems.
I seek to explore the possibilities that traverse the boundaries between human and non-human and to question the expansion of these boundaries.
CV AND PORTFOLIO UPON REQUEST.
